Soft White Sandwich Bread

Ingredients

355g             Bread Flour

210g             Warm Water

1 TSP             Active Yeast

1 TSP            Salt

1 TBS            Honey or Sugar

3 TBS            Soft Butter

 

Process

1)     Mix all ingredients together and kneed for about 10 minutes.  Cover and rest for 10 min.

2)      Kneed for about 3 more minutes.  Proof in an oiled container, covered, for about 2 hours.

3)     Shape:

(a)    Knock down and flatten into a rectangle.  Fold bottom 1/3 up and top 1/3 down.

(b)   Flatten with rolling pin into rectangle approximately as wide as the bread pan is long and about 1” to 1.5” thick.

(c)    Roll into a loaf, (like cinnamon rolls), pinch in seam and ends.

(d)   Place in greased loaf pan, cover with plastic wrap.  Rise for about 60 to 75 minutes.

4)     Bake, 350°, 30-35 min.
